Prof. Miriam Meyerhoff

Miriam Meyerhoff is internationally renowned for her work in sociolinguistics and particularly in creole languages. She has worked on linguistic phenomena concerning gender and ethnicity, and is one of the leading experts in Bislama, where she has concentrated on different varieties of that language in rural and more urban settings.
