After having done my Bachelors in Mathematics, I decided to take up Linguistics. I did my Masters in Linguistics at the Department of Linguistics, University of Delhi.
Throughout my master’s program I have been keenly working on Indo-Aryan and Dravidian languages. I have investigated many projects on sociolinguistics, syntax and SLA. I have worked on the acquisition of German as L2 by Hindi-speaking students and I intend to investigate further the morphological and syntactic constraints involved in the L2 acquisition process. Furthermore, I am also interested in investigating code-switching phenomena from a theoretical and experimental perspective.
My main interests are- Experimental Syntax, Morphology, Psycholinguistics, Sociolinguistics and Corpus Linguistics.
