Laura M. Merino Hernández’s research focuses on the empirical study of morphosyntactic variation and change in Spanish. She has a robust background doing field research and corpus analyzes and designing experimental production and perception tasks. Her main objectives are to contribute to our knowledge of the linguistic, contextual, and social factors that drive language use, variation, and change.
