Matteo Macciò studied classics and Indo-European linguistics and earned his doctorate with a dissertation on the Indo-European reconstruction of Greek nominal reduplication. His research focuses on Indo-European etymology and morphology, Greek linguistics and dialectology, as well as Vedic studies.
