Maryam Bahmani

Maryam Bahmani earned her degree in linguistics, with a research interest in the interaction between syntax and phonetics. She is now pursuing her PhD at the University of Cologne, with a focus on the relationship between syntax and register. Her work includes corpus-based methodology as well as experimental approaches to uncover how syntactic structures interact with language variation and use.
